Gadchiroli Aug. 22 (District Correspondent) Acting swiftly on the complaint of the Gadchiroli MLA Dr. Milind Narote, Gadchiroli Police has today registered an offence against Bihar’s former Dy. Chief minister and RJD leader Tejasvi Yadav for allegedly ‘posting derogatory remarks against the Prime minister of India Narendra Modi on the social media platform.
Dr. Narote personally went to the police station along with some BJP workers and lodged the complaint with the Gadchiroli Police Station this afternoon before the Police station in charge Vinod Chavan. The complaint states that Tejasvi Yadav has put up several posts against Mr. Modi and has caused his defamation, the posts may disturb peace and create social rift. ‘Mr. Modi has been speaking lie and giving false assurances to the youths for the last 11 years’, said the complaint.
Mr. Yadav has also tweeted a song on X which says ‘PM jikahe bolte itna zutha subah shyam ji-O PM ji, kahe julm ji’, also posted the matter ‘Aaj Gaya me lagegi jumlonki dukan, Pradhan Mantriji aaj bina haddi ki juban se aaj zuth aur jumlonka himalay khada karenge’ said Dr. Narote in the complaint and demanded action against him.
Mr. Tejasvi Yadav has been continuously making such allegations against the Prime Minister and discontent has spread among the people of Gadchiroli by today’s posts, said the complaint further.
Dr. Narote also presented some screen shots of the tweeter account of Mr. Tejasvi Yadav regarding these posts to the police along with the complaint.
Acting on the complaint, an offence under sections 196 (1) (a), (b), 356 (2), (3), 352, 353 (2) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) has been registered against Mr. Tejasvi Yadav vide FIR number 0712.
Accompanied by former BJP district chief Prashant Waghre, former councillor Anil Pohankar and others, Dr. Narote also met the SP of Gadchiroli Mr. Nilotpal and discussed the issue with him, demanding stern action against Tejasvi Yadav.
