Gadchiroli Oct. 10 (District Correspondent) A team of Gadchiroli District Amature Sports Karate Do Association has bagged several medals in the 45th Maharashtra State Karate Championship that was organized by Maharashtra Karate Association at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Balewadi, Pune.
The competition was concluded under the supervision of Maharashtra Karate Association Affiliated Maharashtra Olympic Association.
In sub junior category – Preesha Prahlad Kabra got the gold medal, Savi Persingwar won the gold and silver medal, Om Sandeep Bhand bagged the gold and bronze medal, Arohi Raipure got the gold and bronze, Advait Gaddewar won gold and bronze, Dipashree Ingulkar received the gold, Arya Chahande- gold, Siddhi Gedam -silver, Ansh Raghuvanish- bronze, Narayani Dumpettivar- Bronze, Ruchi Pandey- Silver, Rituja Gandhare- Silver, Anjali Kukudkar -Bronze and Adesh Patar won the Silver Medal in this competition.
In cadet group- Ms. Arohi Chavan won two gold medals, Sarthak Gedam got the gold medal and bronze medal in junior group, Nandini Barsagde won the gold medal and bronze medal, Lavanya Kove got the silver medal, Apoorva Deshmukh- silver medal, Ghogre- bronze medal.
Similarly in senior group Kshitij Vigam bagged the silver medal and bronze medal, Mohit Meshram won the gold medal and silver medal, Pratham Koret -gold medal and silver medal, Krishna Chavan -Gold Medal, Vasantrao Jangam- Silver Medal and Khushal Bhandekar won the Silver Medal.
The winning players have attributed this success to the President of District Karate Association Mr. Prashant Waghre, Vice President Rupraj Wakode, Secretary Yogesh Chavan, Trainers Milind Gedam, Shubham Konde, Danish Sheikh, Sonali Chavan and parents.
