Gadchiroli May 14 (District Correspondent) The district of Gadchiroli recorded 82.67 percent result in SSC examination. As many as 13,872 students including 7,150 boys and 6,722 girls had appeared for the exam. Out of them a total of 11,468 students with 5,579 boys and 5,889 girls passed.
The girls have surpassed the boys in passing with 87.60 percent while the percentage of boys is 78.02. The district has showed the lowest passing percentage this year.
In taluka wise results, Sironcha taluka has shown the highest result with 87.48 percent and Korchi taluka has given the lowest result with 69.95 percent. The result of other talukas is Gadchiroli-86.98, Aheri-84.84, Armori-82.77, Bhamragad-79.29, Chamorshi-84.81, Desaiganj-82.23, Dhanora 80.28, Etapalli-72.51, , Kurkheda-80.54 and Mulchera -80.27 percent.
As many as 37 High Schools in the district have given 100 percent result in this examination. Similarly, 11 Govt. Ashram Schools have shown above 90 percent result.
Ayush Bramhanwade of the Vasant Vidyalaya here has topped the district with 97.60 percent marks. Ms. Susmit Kaur Saluja of the Global Media English Medium School has obtained 96.80 percent marks in the exam.
