Gadchiroli Sept. 10 (District Correspondent) A seminar to discuss the problems of the tribals was organized by various tribal organizations jointly at Celebration Hall, Armori the other day.

The programme was presided over by Mr. Nitaram Kumre, retired police commissioner and tribal leader. Dr. Namdeo Kirsan, MP of Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha, Mr. Ramakrishna Madavi, former MLA, Hariram Warkhade former MLA, Ramdas Masram, Social Worker, Dr. Neelkanth Masram, taluka President Adiwasi Employees Federation, Manish Halami, Amit Koram, Daulat Dada Dhurve,  Nitinji Pada, Shivaji Narote, Kunal Kowe, Visweshwarrao Darro, Karan Sayam, Prashant Kinake, Vinod Madavi were present.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Nitaram  Kumre said that the jobs under PESA should be filled quickly and the tribal youths be provided employment. The tribals have been facing various burning problems. The said recruitment process should be started by the government immediately, the government schools should not be handed over to the corporates, Kumre said.

Dr. Kirsan said he will personally look into the problems of the tribals and make the necessary efforts to get them solved. He answered all the questions asked by the community members and assured that soon the basic problems of the tribals will be raised in the Parliament. Along with this, officials-experts from various organizations also guided the participants and answered the questions.

The other leaders also expressed their views in the rally and highlighted the problems of the tribals calling upon the youths to get united to raise their voice.

The introductory speech was delivered by Mr. Prashant Madavi, chief organizer of the rally. The program was moderated by Prof. Anil Holi and vote of thanks was expressed by Anil Kerami.

Under the leadership of Mr. Prashant G. Madavi, District President of Gondwana Gantantra Party, Ganeshji Warkhade, District President Birsa Brigade, Shyam Kulmete, Raju Parse and others took pains for the success of the rally.
