Gadchiroli Aug. 23 (District Correspondent) To avoid unfortunate incidents like Badlapur, it is necessary to install cc tv cameras in all government and private schools and colleges in the district, instructed Minister of Food and Drug Administration Dharmarao Baba Atram while addressing a Zilla Parishad review meeting here the other day.

District Collector Sanjay Daine, Zilla Parishad CEO Ayushi Singh, Additional CEO Rajendra Bhuyar, Forest Conservator Poonam Pate, Senate Member Tanushree Atram were mainly present on this occasion.

Dr. Atram further said that there is a ban on paan stalls within 500 meters of the schools and it should be strictly implemented. The government has started a nutrition scheme to ensure proper nutrition of school children and it should be ensured whether the grain received for this is kept in order and used properly.

The Minister also asked the Education department officials for regular visits to various schools. While reviewing the health department he asked to give priority attention to cleanliness in all government hospitals. In Aheri sub-division bus service which was closed due to flood situation should be restarted and school buses be plied regularly, Mr. Atram said.

55 buses sanctioned have not received since last 1 year hence the transport department should make necessary follow up to get them immediately, the construction department should take serious note of the road repair work and the important roads be repaired at the earliest, he instructed.

The money received under Ladki Bahin Yojana should be used by the women carefully and various public welfare schemes initiated by the government be availed, Atram appealed.

CEO Ms. Ayushi Singh gave information about the various works of Zilla Parishad through a presentation. Under Zilla Parishad recruitment for 580 posts of teachers is going on and 10 candidates were issued appointment orders by Mr. Dharmaraobaba Atram.

Mr. Ravindra Wasekar, Liladhar Bharadkar, District Surgeon Dr. Madhuri Kilnake, District Planning Officer Sriram Pachkhede, District Health Officer Dr. Pratap Shinde, Social Welfare Officer Chetan Hivanj, Education Officer Bhuse and other officers of Zilla Parishad were present.
