Dussehra is the historical culture of Aheri Estate. This festival has been going on continuously for the past 250 years. Earlier there was a lack of education in my community. Today’s youth generation is well educated and is performing remarkably in various fields and this generation has preserved its culture and traditions.

Speaking further, Raje Ambrishrao Atram attacked the opponents saying currently a company in Aheri area is preparing for the Assembly election for a certain person, but it wants a representative who dances on its finger. For that some brokers have become active. However, no matter how much you prepare, put money and system, but the people’s support will remain with me, he thundered. He also resolved to make Aheri a separate district.

Referring to the ugly condition of the roads, Mr. atram said that the representative who was elected by the people with great expectation but he has thrown the people into the pit in the last five years. The roads in all the five talukas of Aheri Assembly constituency are in a miserable condition. The young generation is being mocked in the name of employment. Heavy vehicles transporting iron ore have claimed many lives, he pointed out.

Various gifts are being distributed to lure the voters for the elections. However, the people have come to know about this game plan. The candidate in the minds of the people does not need any party or banner, nor the gifts, he stated.

Various programs were organized to mark Dussehra festival. In the 250-year-old history of Aheri dynasty, Raje Dharmarao Maharaj, Raje Bhujangrao Maharaj, Danshur Raje Dharmarao Maharaj, Raje Visweshwarrao Maharaj, then Raje Satyavanrao Maharaj and now Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj have ascended the throne.

After the death of Raje Satyavanrao Maharaj, Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj was only 25 years old when the coronation ceremony was held in grandeur.
