Gadchiroli Nov. 24 (District Correspondent) Well known social organization from Kurkheda in the district ‘Amhi Amchya Arogyasathi’ (AAA) has been honoured with ‘International Humanitarian Award-2024 for its outstanding performance in social field. The award is sponsored by Rotary International’s Hong Kong branch.
The head of the organization Dr. Satish Gogulwar was presented this prestigious award at the hands of Mr. Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Hong Kong and Mr. Stephanic Urchick, President of Rotary International at a function held at Hong Kong recently.
AAA headed by Dr. Satish Gogulwar and Ms. Shubhda Deshmukhhas been working in the field of social work and mass awareness since 1984 and is head quartered at Kurkheda. Rehabilitation and welfare of Divyangas, women’s self-help groups, awareness of the farmers are some of the activities taken up by this Sanstha.
Rotary Club Mumbai had recommended the name of Amhi Amchya Arogyasathi considering its services and work for the people. The reputed personalities like Dr. Ravi Kolhe, Dr. Prakash Amte, Sindhutai Sapkal, Dr. Rajendra Dhamne were also awarded by the Rotary earlier.
Many well-wishers of Dr. Gogulwar have congratulated him on this award which is considered to be a great honour to the district.
