Gadchiroli Aug. 15 (District Correspondent) Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, Principal of Govindrao Munghate College, Kurkheda has been invited for the prestigious global annual conference of APQN (Asia Pacific Quality Network), a global leader in the field of policy and evaluation in higher education and associated with UNESCO to be held this year in St. Petersburg, Russia from 26 to 29 September. He is among 100 educationists from all over the world who will attend the conference.
The current state of higher education at the global level will be discussed in the said conference. Dr. Munghate’s selection letter has been received from the Russian Registrar.
A brainstorming session of education technology around the world has been organized on the topic ‘The Quality Assurance and Global Tertiary Education, Navigating Challenges and Embracing Innovation’. Principal Dr. Munghate will attend and give his presentation about the progress of the new education policy in India.
Dr. Munghate is associated as a permanent member of a global organization working on strategic and quality research in the field of global APQN level for the last 10 years. Before this, he has attended and presented a research paper at many important UNESCO World Conferences in the context of higher education in China, Dubai, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Paris, Rome, Malaysia and Thailand.
Principal Dr. Munghate has been a member of the Nagpur and Gondwana University and has been working for many years as a member of Balbharti Board of Studies, many government examination boards of India, various committees of UNESCO and NAAC assessment process. 10 years ago, has successfully completed the Rockefeller Foundation of America’s a research project on tobacco consumption among college youth.
