Gadchiroli Oct. 31 (District Correspondent) Observing that the molestation complaint filed against Dr. Pramod Salve by some students of Dr. Salve Nursing College at Chatgaon in Dhanora taluka was baseless and had no facts, the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court has acquitted Dr. Salwe in the case. The High court has upheld the earlier judgement of the district court in this case.
On the complaint of some students, the Gadchiroli police filed a case in the district court after investigating the matter. The case was decided by the district Court in May 2019 and Dr. Salwe was acquitted.
The students however had filed an appeal against this judgement in the Nagpur bench of Mumbai high Court. The high court finally dismissed the case and acquitted Dr. Pramod Salwe from the charges on Oct. 22 last saying that the verdict given by the district court was correct.
Responding to the High court judgement, Dr. Salwe told that due to this complaint, he had to suffer a lot of mental suffering. However, I am satisfied that the court had given proper justice. Some people had falsely involved me in this case with the help of the students but the truth has come to light with the high Court judgement, he said.
