Gadchiroli April 5 (District Correspondent) War sows the seeds of another war. War brings no solution to the problem. For that, there should be a fair and neutral discussion. Judges should discuss and solve this question. Such a proposal was made by Siddhartha Gautama during the Sangh’s discussion after a dispute over distribution of Rohini water. However, this proposal was rejected and as punishment Siddhartha had to renounce the house, kingdom and the country. After this, Siddhartha gave the Dhamma, the path to liberation from suffering for the entire world. This Dhamma should be followed and practiced, observed Mr. Gautam Meshram, District Convenor of Sanvidhan Foundation.

He was speaking while speaking at the inauguration of a small but well-built Buddha Vihara at village Apapali in Aheri taluka the other day.

Mr. Munishwar Borkar, Gopal Raipure, Dhamma Pracharak Sheelatai Dofe, Sushila Bhagat, Anand Alone, Ramdas Kondagorala were prominently present on the stage as chief guests.

Mr. Meshram further said that for becoming true Buddhists, the principles given by the Buddha in Dhamma in real life should be practiced that will help us to be free from suffering and we will all be happy by creating unity in the society. The foundation of all development is Dhamma. Let us all understand and follow the 38 Mahamangalsuttas of Dhamma and the 22 pledges given by Babasaheb at the time of conversion, he stated.

Buddha Vihar should become the main centre of Dhamma education and social movement in the village, he advised.

Mr. Sunil Mahulkar made an introductory speech, the programme was conducted by Damodar Zade and vote of thanks was proposed by Siddharth Dethe. A large number of Dhamma followers from Apapali village and surrounding area attended the program.
