Gadchiroli Sept. 24 (District Correspondent) The 29th Annual General Meeting of Dandakaranya Education Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Co-operative Credit Society was held at Sri Govindrao College of Arts and Sciences, Kurkheda, recently.
Senior member of Dandakaranya Sanstha Dr. Suresh Ladke presided over the meeting while, Principal of Kamaltai Munghate Jr. College Ms. Smitatai Ladke, Vice Principal of Munghate College P. S. Khope, Principal of Vidyabharati Junior College in Purada Mr. Borkar, President of the credit society Prof. Narendra Arekar, Vice President Prof. Gorthekar were prominently present.
Dr. Sureshji Ladke expressed the purpose behind the establishment of this credit society. The society was established 28 years ago by late Mr. Govindrao Munghate to meet the financial needs of the teachers and non-teaching staff of his institution. Now big financial transactions are being done from this society, which was established on a very small number of members and a small share capital. He also asserted that he is happy to see the progress of this society.
Asserting the importance of cooperation in the sector, if the members need a loan, they should take it from their credit society instead of going to other banks, and meet their financial needs and empower the society financially, Ladke appealed.
Dr. Suresh Ladke was felicitated for his PhD. by presenting a shawl and shrifal on behalf of the society. Also, members Prin. S R Mashakhetri, Prin. S, .S. Gohelkar, Prof. Y. K. Parshuramkar, P.S. Katarkar, S.N. Nimbokar, G. R. Parashuramkar, Y. N. Bhoyer Babuji, B.D. Titarmare Babuji, K K Bhoyer, R. P. Khewle, Prof. N. K. Uike, S. G. Gaddewar, R. V. Urkude, Ms. N.M. Hazare, Suresh Mangar and meritorious students Shreyansh Choudhari, Arya Gongal, Sachin Urkude, Parv Arekar, Kumudini Jhanjal and the meritorious students were felicitated by dignitaries.
Satish Munghate, secretary of the credit society, all directors and majority of the members were present in the general meeting.
Dr. Narendra Arekar made an introductory speech, Dr. Sanjay Mahajan conducted the programme and Narule Sir, member of Credit Institution, proposed the vote of thanks.
