Gadchiroli Aug. 14 (District Correspondent) A foot march was organized by 192 battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under “Har Ghar Tiranga” program of the Amrit Mahotsav of Indian Independence under the guidance of Commandant Parvinder Singh the other day.
The march was flagged off by the commandant Parvindar Singh. The general public with the students of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, School, Police Complex and the citizens participated in the march. The march started from the CRPF headquarters in MIDC area here and marched through the main streets of the city displaying national flag.
The foot march was organized to inspire the general public about the national flag and patriotism. Ms. Lakshmi Ketkar of Saraswati Vidya Mandir was specially invited.
The citizens were encouraged to make the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign a success. There was joy and enthusiasm for the campaign among the common citizens. In the said program all the officers and jawans of 192 battalion participated enthusiastically.
