
Gadchiroli Aug. 12 (District Correspondent) The festival of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was celebrated by Central Reserve Police force (CRPF) Bn. 192 at its head quarters here the other day with a great zeal and enthusiasm.
The girl students of Vidya Vihar Convent School, Murkhada were specially invited to the CRPF head quarters for this festival. The students tied rakhis to Mr. Parvinder Singh, commandant of the battalian and other officers and jawans.
The officers and jawans also got the rakhis tied to their wrists gladly by the students and celebrated the age-old festival with them. The students then presented the cultural programme highlighting the importance of the festival thereby adding joyfulness in the programme.
It was an unforgettable and invaluable event for the CRPF officers and jawans who remain miles away from their families to serve the country and the society, said Mr. Parvinder Singh, while expressing his feelings on the occasion.
