Gadchiroli Oct. 18 (District Correspondent) Alleging that after two years of continuous agitation, the honorarium of the Anganwadi Cooks has been increased by only Rs. 1,000 is very negligible, Amrit Ahar cooks Association has demanded that the honorarium of the cooks be increased to at least to Rs. 20,000 per month.

Since 2016, Amrit Aahar Anganwadi cooks have been working as female cooks with the monthly honorarium of just Rs. 1,000. The Association has always been fighting for raising this honorarium.
