Gadchiroli May 23 (District Correspondent) To express gratitude towards the unparalleled bravery shown by Indian soldiers under Operation Sindoor and to those who were martyred in the terrorist attack, a grand Tiranga Rally was taken out by Gadchiroli District Congress Committee on Thursday. The rally started from Indira Gandhi Chowk of the city and proceeded to Kargil Chowk on Chandrapur Road.

Gadchiroli Chimur Lok Sabha MP Dr. Namdev Kirsan, District Congress President Mahendra Brahmanwade, Armori MLA Ramdasji Masram, Former ZP Vice President Manohar Patil Poretti, Pradesh Youth Congress Vice President Adv. Vishwajit Kovase, City President Satish Vidhate led the rally that moved through the main roads of the city displaying national flags and shouting slogans hailing the Indian Army.

A grand public meeting was held at Kargil Chouk which was addressed by the leaders. The leaders appreciated the jawans and officers of the Indian Army for their bravery in teaching Pakistan a lesson in retaliation of the attack on Indian civilians in Pahelgaon.

They expressed the opinion that this rally would be an inspiring event that would remind us of the sacrifices of the brave soldiers and give a message of unity to the people of the country. Congress Party will always stand solidly with the security forces of the country, they stated.

Senior Congress Leaders Shankarrao Salotkar, Prabhakar Wasekar, Kusum Alam, Parasram Tikele, Pandurang Ghotekar, Harbaji More, Devaji Sontakke, Milind Khobragade Rajendra Bulle, Vasant Raut, Pramod Bhagat, Prashant Koram, Rajinikanth Motghare, Nitesh Rathod, Damdev Mandalwar, Wamanrao Savasake, Dattatray Kharwade, Rupesh Tikele, Nishant Vanmali, Vinod Lengure, Ramesh Chaudhary, Netaji Gavature, Suresh bhandekar and hundreds of other congress workers and citizens participated in the rally.

Sanghpal Khewle, Lalaji Mhashakhetri, Kedarnath Salote, Yashwant Mhashakhetri, Anandrao Bhoyar, Deep Bambole, Rajesh Sorate, Rahul Madavi, Swapnil Tadam, Shajed Kukudkar and six other office bearers and activists participated in large numbers. Through this rally, a strong effort was made to convey the spirit of patriotism, unity and sacrifice to the people.
