CM to launch ‘Green Maharashtra’ campaign in Gadchiroli.

Gadchiroli July 20 (District Correspondent) “Green Maharashtra, Prosperous Maharashtra”, campaign will be launched by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on July 22 next in the premises of the Agriculture College here. A target of planting one crore trees for Gadchiroli district, has been given.

Against this backdrop, a review meeting of the agencies was held today under the chairmanship of District Collector Avishyant Panda.

Mr. Panda asked to ensure that the trees remain alive after planting. Besides planting its protection and conservation is the true environment-friendly approach, for which the participation of government agencies and citizens is important, he said.

Mr. Panda has appealed to the citizens of the district, schools, colleges, NGOs, forest conservation workers to actively participate in this campaign. Instructions were given to coordinate various departments from the perspective of planning this campaign.

Zilla Parishad CEO Suhas Gade, Assistant Collector Ranjit Yadav, Naman Goyal, Kushal Jain, Additional SP R. Ramesh, DyCF Ms. Arya, Superintendent Engineer of PWD Neeta Thackere, Additional Collector Nitin Gawande, RDC Sunil Suryavanshi, Deputy Collector Prasenjit Pradhan, Smita Belpatre, Information Officer Sanjay Tripathi and other concerned officers were present.
