Gadchiroli Dec. 23 (District Correspondent) Christmas Celebration was held at Carmel High School and Jr. College here with a great zeal and enthusiasm.
The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Philip, Director of BJM Carmel, Rev. Fr. Sinoj Sebastian CMI, Principal of Carmel High School and Junior College, Rev. Sister Nancy SH, Vice Principal of the School.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
The celebration featured a prayer dance, followed by various Christmas-themed dances and a drama based on the significance of the festival. The highlight of the event was the performances by pre-primary students who captivated the audience with their energetic and delightful dances. The colourful costumes of the students brought the real festivity to the celebration.
In his speech, Fr. Sinoj Sebastian wished all merry Christmas and gave a meaningful message. Students enjoyed the piece of cake which was distributed by the school to mark the Chrismas.
The event was beautifully anchored by Ms. Sambhavi Alam and Maithili Kosankar. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shravani Chadgulwar expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, participants, and attendees for making the event a memorable one.
The program successfully spread the message of love, joy, and togetherness celebrating the true spirit of Christmas.
