Gadchiroli Aug. 9 (District Correspondent) School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse has instructed schools to make proper planning so that students can celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm by presenting exercises on patriotic songs on August 15 and that local citizens and parents should be present in these programs.

He was speaking at the District Educational Quality Review meeting held at the Gadchiroli Zilla Parishad Hall on Thursday.

Mr. Bhuse said that singing the state anthem after the national anthem is mandatory during school programs. At the same time, while emphasizing on strengthening educational and basic facilities in Zilla Parishad schools, he directed to pay attention to the availability of clean drinking water, clean and well-equipped toilets, repair or construction of new buildings, e-facilities and computer labs, science laboratories, libraries and playgrounds etc.

Efforts should be made to obtain Corporate Social Responsibility Fund (CSR) to set up these facilities. However, after receiving information about the death of four youths in an unfortunate accident on the Gadchiroli-Armori road, Minister Dadaji Bhuse expressed his condolences and adjourned the meeting.

He announced that a review of this meeting would be taken up during the next visit. On this occasion, Additional CEO of Zilla Parishad Rajendra Bhuyar, Deputy Director of Education Madhuri Savarkar, Education Officers Vasudev Bhuse and Babasaheb Pawar as well as all Extension Officers and concerned officers of the Zilla Parishad were present in the meeting.
