

Gadchiroli June 13 (District Correspondent) The Bharatiya Bouddha Mahasabha District Branch has started Dhamma Sanskar camps for the children in 5 Buddhist monasteries of the city with the aim of educating the youth about the principles of wisdom, morality, compassion and friendship of Tathagata Gautam Buddha, as well as the life and work of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar,
Panchsheel Buddha Vihar Ramnagar, Samyak Buddha Vihar Gokul Nagar, Prabuddha Buddha Vihar Vivekananda Nagar, Amrapali Buddha Vihar Phule Ward and Tathagata Buddha Vihar Navegaon Complex are these Buddha Viharas.
The camp was inaugurated at Panchsheel Buddha Vihar Ramnagar under the chairmanship of Ms. Surekha Barsagade, while Buddha Vihar President Nagsen Khobragade an Sukhdev Wasnik Dr. M.A. Raipure guided the camp, Ms. Leena Dholane were present.
At Prabuddha Buddha Vihar Vivekananda Nagar, Prof. Gautam Dange inaugurated the camp and guided on the importance of Dhamma Sanskar. Mr. Balkrishna Bambole conducted the program and expressed his gratitude.
At Samyak Buddha Vihar Gokul Nagar, the camp was inaugurated under the chairmanship of City Women President Aruna Raut and District Women’s Branch General Secretary Sumitra Raut. Ms. Manisha Warke and Lilabai Kotangale were present on this occasion.
District President Tularam Raut inaugurated the camp at Amrapali Buddha Vihar Phule Ward and guided the participants. City President Suryabhan Ghutke, Treasurer Lahu Ramteke, Vice President Moreshwar Ambade, Lalita Meshram, Chetan Nimgade were present.
Mr. Ramesh Dongre inaugurated the camp at Tathagata Buddha Vihar Navegaon Complex with Trisharan Panchsheel. District President Tularam Raut visited the Buddha Viharas and reviewed the Dhamma Sanskar camp and guided the participants.
This children’s Dhamma Sanskar camp will continue till June 15. Attendance certificates will be awarded to the participating children at the concluding program, it has been informed.
