Gadchiroli May 27 (District Correspondent) A book “Emerging Trends of Library and Information Centres” written by Dr. Kishor Wasurke was released by All India National Educational Federation (AINEF) Gondwana University branch at Hotel City Heart here the other day.
Former President of Principal Forum Dr. P. Arun Prakash, presided over the programme while Dean of Gondwana University Dr. A. Chandramouli, Maharashtra Secretary of AINEF Dr. Vivek Joshi, General Secretary Dr. Rupendra Kumar Gaur, Working President, Dr. Sachin Vazalwar were prominently present.
Dr. Ramesh Sontakke, Dr. Anil Chahande, Dr. Ramanik Lengure are the co-authors of this book which is useful for Semister IV of the MLISc course of the Library and Information Science under new National Education Policy.
Prof. Dr. Ramesh Sontakke, a Librarian from Sadguru Saibaba College Ashti was felicitated by the All-India National Educational Federation on his retirement from services by presenting him shawls, shrifal, gifts and certificate of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, dignitaries expressed the opinion that this book will be useful for students studying library and information science. They also wished Dr. Ramesh Sontakke for a smooth, happy, long-lived journey after his retirement.
Dr. Rupendrakumar Gaur made an introductory speech, the program was coordinated by Prof. Pradip Chaple and Dr. Kishor Wasurke proposed the vote of thanks. All the members of All India National Educational Federation Gondwana University from Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Aheri, Bramhapuri, principals of the various colleges, faculty members and officials of the organization were present in large numbers for this program.
