Sironcha May 31 (Our Correspondent) The Zonal Manager of Bank of India Nagpur Jai Narayan, suddenly visited the Bank of India branch at Sironcha recently and put all the bank officials to surprise.
Like all normal bank customers, he sat on the sofa for account holders and observed the functioning of the bank. He also took a torn note of twenty rupees and showed it on the counter and asked if he could get a sticky note, but the clerk in front ignored him. None of the bank employees had any idea that the Zonal Manager was visiting the bank.
As soon as the bank manager Pakanj Patil got the information, he took him to his chamber and discussed the work, problems, customer relations, and behaviour of the bank employees with the customers.
Mr. Narayan then instructed the bank to arrange a tin shed or green net in front of the bank so that the customers do not suffer from heat, wind, and rain. When he was told that the generator in the bank was not working, he asked the manager to submit a report of the problems.
We are here to solve the problem and other problems will be solved, assured Jai Narayan. Similarly, the bank runs because of the account holders. We listen to the customers and talk to them with affection and politeness and complete their work as soon as possible, he added.
Mr. Jai Narayan was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. On this occasion, Bank Manager Pakanj Patil, Councillor Satish Bhoge, former Panchayat Samiti Deputy Chairman Vishweshwarrao Kondra, Nageshwar Gagapurpu, Ranjit Gagapurpu, Journalist Nagbhushanam Chakinarpuwar and others were present.
