Gadchiroli Aug. 24 (District Correspondent) A sensation has spread at Kurkheda after the dead body of a young woman was found in the Zilla Parishad School area this morning. According to the information received, the deceased has been identified as Jyoti alias Chandni Masaji Meshram 26 years, a resident of Kurkheda.
This morning, the youth who had gone to play cricket in the Zilla Parishad School premises saw the dead body of the young woman against the school wall. The news of this spread like wind in the city. There was a crowd of onlookers at the scene.
As soon as the police got the information about the incident, Sub Divisional Police Officer Ravindra Bhosle and PSO Mahendra Wagh of Kurkheda Police Station rushed to the spot along with the police staff. The dead body of the young woman was taken into custody and sent to the Sub District Hospital for after panchanama was conducted at the scene of the incident.
The medical officers have expressed the opinion that in the preliminary investigation it is not possible to say what exactly caused the death of the young woman. The exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem.
According to the deceased’s mother, her daughter left the house at around 10 o’clock last night. She did not return home until late and was not found when searched for. In the morning, when the news of her death was heard, the mother of the deceased broke out. A mother who had lost her son in an accident a few days ago has been hit hard by this incident.
