Gadchiroli Oct. 28 (District Correspondent) Former MP and National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Scheduled Tribes Morcha Ashok Nete has been given responsibility by the BJP as a star campaigner for the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
The list of star campaigners declared by BJP include as many as 40 leaders across the country and Mr. Nete is one of them. This is considered to be a great honour to Mr. Nete who has been MP for two terms and an MLA for two terms.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President J P Nadda, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Dy. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP state president Chandrasekhar Bawankule, and many Union Ministers are included in this list of 40 leaders of the country as the star campaigners.
I will continue to try my best to fulfil the responsibility given by the party to bring back the grand coalition government in the interest of Maharashtra, said Mr. Nete. My focus will be on conveying the achievements of the Mahayuti government to the voters and exposing the false narrative of the opposition. For this responsibility, he thanked the party’s national president J.P. Nadda, Devendra Fadnavis, State President Chandrasekhar Bawankule.
As soon as Mr. Nete got the news of his selection as star campaigner, he paid a visit to the Semana Devasthan on the outskirts of the city and offered prayers. He was then felicitated by the party workers by offering him bouquets and distributing sweets at his residence.
