Gadchiroli Oct. 18 (District Correspondent) Senior cooperative leader Arvind Savkar Poreddiwar has been appointed as the Chairman of Maharashtra State Cooperative Development Corporation.
Arvind Sawkar is the first Chairman of Gadchiroli District Central Cooperative Bank. He has also held the post of Vice Chairman of Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank. Under his guidance, Gadchiroli District Cooperative Bank has expanded its network throughout the district and has been extending financial services to the farmers and other segments of the society.
Notably, this bank has won many awards not only at the state but also at the national level for its excellent service in the banking sector every year. Presently Mr. Pranchit Poreddiwar is holding the post of Chairman of the bank.
The appointment of Arvind Savkar will help strengthen the cooperative sector of the state, it is hoped and many of his supporters have congratulated him on this appointment.
