Mr. Vasantrao Kulsange, Rohidas Raut, Kusum Alam and others paying tributes to late Shibu Soren.

Gadchiroli Aug. 7 (District Correspondent) Emotional tributes were paid to senior tribal leader and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shibu Soren (Guruji) by different social and political organizations here on Wednesday.

A portrait of late Mr. Shibu Soren was garlanded and two minutes silence was observed at Indira Gandhi Chowk of city. After that, a condolence meeting was held under the chairmanship of senior tribal activist Vasantrao Kulsange.

In this meeting, Republican Party leader senior activist Kusam Alam, Gandhian leader Prakash Arjunwar, Republican district president Hansraj Undirwade, Sadanand Taram of Tribal Employed Federation, Premila Ramteke of Nationalist Congress Party, Pradeep Bhaisare, Youth Aghadi’s Narendra Raipure, Baburao Madavi Smarak Samiti’s Gulabrao Madavi, Anand Kangale, Umesh Uike, Sunita Usendi of Jango Raitad Mahila Sangathana, Devrao Alam, Kashinath Bhadke, Jayendra Raut, Naresh Kodape, Dadaji Dhakade, Nagesh Uike and many other activists were present.

On this occasion, the dignitaries shed light on the life and struggle of the late leader Shibu Soren and called him a struggling warrior. They said that the death of Shibu Soren has caused immense loss not only to the tribals but the oppressed people of the country that can never be compensated.
