AIRP to bring Republican parties together-Balasaheb Khobragade.

Nagpur Aug. 27 (Special Correspondent) The All-India Republican Party has decided to take initiative in bringing together all the factions of the Republican Party working under late Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade’s name.

This was decided in the central executive committee meeting of the party held at Ravi bhavan here on Sunday under the chairmanship of the national president Praveen alias Balasaheb Khobragade.

Mr. Rohidas Raut, Ashok Nimgade, vice presidents, Ghanshyam Fuse, general secretary, Pratik Dorlikar, treasurer, Milind Tayde, state president, Sanjay Patil, Nagpur city president, were prominently present in the meeting.

The proposal of the unification of the Republican Parties was moved by Mr. rohidas Raut saying that the Ambedkarite people are highly discontented due to several factions of the Republican Party and the strength of the party has reduced in the political arena. As this is the birth centenary year of the great Republican leader Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade, initiative should be taken by AIRP to bring these factions together, which will be true homage to late Barrister Saheb.

The proposal was seconded by Mr. Ashok Nimgade and was unanimously passed in the meeting. The resolution was then declared by Mr. Balasaheb Khobragade in the press conference.

Several other important resolutions were also passed in the meeting. They included the funds of Rs. 410 crores of the social justice department diverted to the Ladki Bahin Yojna be given back to the Social Justice department, provision of reservation be made in private sector, government should celebrate the birth centenary of Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade, GST on essential commodities and educational material be cancelled, local body polls be contested with the other Republican parties and like-minded political parties etc.

Mr. Balasaheb Khobragade addressed the meeting  vowing to strengthen the party and bring back its past glory.

Several senior functionaries of the party including Suresh Pantawne, Chandrakant Dahiwale, Anup Chinchkhede, Rajubhau Khobragade, Prin. Prakash dudhe, Hansraj Undirwade, Anil Bhange, Siddharth Patil, Arvind Godghate, Eknath Taksande, Vishwanath Khandekar, Premdas Borkar, Madanpal Goswami, Dr. C. G. Janbandhu, Sanjay Bhalerao and others attended the meeting.
