Gadchiroli Sept. 20 (District correspondent) All India MIM Party has demanded early solving of the civic problems of Gadchiroli city.

A delegation of the party workers met the Chief Officer of the Municipal Council Suryakant Piddurkar here on Thursday under the leadership of Mr. Bashid Sheikh, District President and submitted him a memorandum in this regard.

The main demands raised by the party included -all the schools in the city area should be digitized, all the gutters in the city be regularly cleaned and anti-mosquito spraying be done periodically, house tax should be reduced in encroachment holders should be given immediate gharkuls without any condition, Shiv Nagar, Ekta Nagar residents should be provided with basic amenities and house tax be applied to them, cement roads, drains, should be constructed throughout the city.

The demands also included – library should be established at Gokul Nagar for the children pursuing higher education, exercise material should be provided by making a garden in an open space beside the water tank in Gokul Nagar, a grand hall should be constructed for weddings and social events of the poor in the open space in front of the Hanuman temple, municipal council’s independent dispensary should be established in Gadchiroli city etc.

The workers discussed the problems with the CO in detail and warned to launch an intensive agitation if these problems are not solved. District President Bashid Sheikh, Women’s President Ayesh Ali, Social Media chief Jawed Sheikh, Secretary Shamina Shaikh, Shagupta Shaikh, Naseema Shaikh were present.
