**Gadchiroli** – Ambedkarite organizations in Gadchiroli have pledged to participate in large numbers in the mega-rally scheduled for June 20th, starting from the sacred Deekshabhumi in Nagpur, under the banner of the ‘Action Committee to Oppose Reservation Sub-categorization’ (Arakshan Upvargikaran Bachav Kruti Samiti).

This decision was taken during a joint meeting of various local Ambedkarite social and political organizations on Saturday. Presided over by senior Republican leader Rohidas Raut, the meeting was attended by key figures including Pritam Bulkunde (senior office-bearer of the Action Committee, Nagpur), Adv. Smita Kamble, Milind Bambode (District President, BRSP), Tularam Raut (Bharatiya Bauddha Mahasabha), and Prof. Gautam Dange, Ms. Karuna Tabhane.

Addressing the meeting Mr. Pritam Bulkunde stated that the sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes proposed by the Maharashtra government is unconstitutional, unjust, divisive among castes, and effectively dismantles the reservation system guaranteed by the Constitution. He explained that the mega-rally is being organized to demand an immediate halt to this sub-categorization, which is unacceptable to them.

Adv. Kamble also addressed the gathering, stating that the sub-categorization process was initiated as part of a conspiracy to dismantle Scheduled Caste reservations. She emphasized the need for the entire Ambedkarite community to unite and oppose this injustice.

MrRohidas Raut appealed to the Ambedkarite public to participate in the mega-rally in large numbers. Prof. Prakash Dudhe delivered the introductory remarks, Anil Barsagade conducted the proceedings, and Hansraj Undirwade proposed the vote of thanks.

Mr. Baba Ghutke, Gulab Bambode, Pradeep Bhaisare, Vivek Barsinge, Sangharakshit Phulzhele, Premendra Sahare, Tulsidas Sahare, Ramesh Dongre, Malatai Bhajgavali, Sumitra Raut, Manisha Varke, Bharat Jambhulkar, Siddharth Khobragade, and Girish Munjamkar, along with a large number of Ambedkarite citizens, were present at the meeting.
