Gadchiroli Aug. 27 (District Correspondent) A program was organized at Samidha College of Civil Services here in collaboration with Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti to instil a scientific approach among the students and to make them aware of the seriousness of addiction.

The program was chaired by the principal of the college, Mr. Manoj Dholne, while the State General Secretary of Maha Anis, Vilas Nimborkar, State Executive member Sarika Dehankar, Ms. Sudhatai Chaudhary, Alkatai Gurnule, were prominently present.

Mr. Vilas Nimborkar guided on developing a scientific perspective and need of it in every citizen. Every student should develop his personality with the scientific perspective for his overall development. Ms. Alkatai Gurnule gave detailed guidance on the precautions to be taken during menstruation and good health. Sudhatai Chaudhari spoke on the five principles of Maha Anis while Sarika Dehankar guided on addiction, its various types, the reasons why youth fall prey to addiction, and the solutions to overcome it.

The president of the Sanstha Kalidas Raut visited the programme and extended his best wishes to the students and the Maha Anis workers for their initiative.

The program concluded with a collective pledge to not be addicted and to create awareness about addiction. The program was conducted by Prof. Ankush Gohne. Prof. Vinod Kunghadkar, Prof. Pritam Kohpare and Prof. Sunil Bhurse cooperated for the success of the program.
