Development is like a cake. It takes time to bake. But, once baked, it tastes sweet. The people in remote areas of Gadchiroli district are getting this experience over the past few years. A new chapter was added to this success story on Monday when the first bakery was inaugurated in Hedri. The Sarpanchs of the villages expressed their happiness and said that the bakery was a symbol of positive transformation in the district.

Mr. B. Prabhakaran said that the bakery was not just a building but a reflection of the development reaching the people from remote parts of Gadchiroli district. “Gadchiroli district is emerging very fast as one of the best transformational stories in not only Maharashtra but the entire country. And, new chapters are getting added to this story being scripted carefully by the people of Gadchiroli. Lloyds Metals is happy to be enriching their lifestyle with initiatives like the Black Forest Bakery,” he added.

Earlier, on June 27, the Black Forest Bakery was inaugurated at Konsari village, where LMEL’s DRI and pellet plants are operational and the 4.5 MTPA mega integrated steel plant is proposed. That, too, was the first bakery and food plaza in Konsari.

Following the pooja and inauguration, Mr. Prabhakaran took a round of the bakery and interacted with LMEL officials as well as local villagers.
