Gadchiroli July 9 (District Correspondent) The congress workers staged a unique ‘Thali Bajao-Tali Bajao’ protest in front of the office of the civil Surgeon and District Health Officer here on Tuesday despite the continuous rains to protest against the inaction of the administration and government towards the health system in Gadchiroli district.

A large number of workers assembled holding thalis and bells and shouted slogans against the administration ‘Go Malaria-Go’ and demanding early action in the health and other public issues.

The number of malaria patients in the district is increasing day by day. So far, more than 2500 malaria patients have been found in the district, while 10 citizens have lost their lives due to inadequate health facilities in the last four days, but the government is ineffective in taking measures against this, alleged Mr. Mahendra Bramhanwade, District Congress chief.
