Chudaram Ballarpure gets literature award.

Gadchiroli Oct. 25 (District Correspondent) The Marathi play ‘Dharti Aba: Krantisurya Birsa Munda’ penned by well-known writer Chudaram Balharpure has received the first prize Sristhanak Literature Award-2023” for playwriting.

The prize was presented to Mr. Ballarpure at the hands of senior writer Sharankumar Limbale, D. K. Soman and Vidyadhar Thanekar recently in a function held at Mumbai recently.

This year, a total of 359 entries from across the state were received for this prestigious state level award. A total of 14 writers’ quality literature was selected out of them and Mr. Ballarpure is one of them.

On this occasion literary examiners Mahadev Gaikwad, Kiran Barde, Sanjeev Phadke, Nirmohi Phadke, Sadashiv Tetwilkar, Shubhangi Gan, R. M.  Shejwalkar, Nishikant Mahakal, Vrinda Dabholkar, Mansi Joshi, Asmita Chaudhary, Vrishali Raje, Pratibha Chandurkar, Durgesh Akurkar were also present.

Chudaram Balharpure’s plays have earlier received prizes for playwriting from Sahitya Pradnyamanch, Pune and other organizations.  Prof. Arun Bure, Yogesh Gohane, Dr. Prof. Shyam Mohrkar, Dr. Janbandhu Meshram, Dr. Yogiraj Nagarle, Dr.  Rajkumar Musane, Dr. Deepak Chaudhari, Journalists Sanjay Tipale, Naresh Bawne, Milind Umre, Prahlad Mhshakhetri, Pramod Gedekar, Publisher of Madhushree Prakashan Parag Lonkar, Prof. Navneet Deshmukh, Prof. Prabramhananda Madavi, and Nandkishore Naitam as well as others have congratulated Mr. Ballarpure on his honor.
