Gadchiroli Oct. 16 (District correspondent) Dr. Hemant Barsagade, Dy. Registrar of the Gondwana University has been honoured with the Best University Officer award.
The award consisting a mento, certificate and cash of Rs.5000/- was presented at the hands of Amravati University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Milind Barahate and tirst Vice-Chancellor of Gondwana University Dr. Vijay Ainchwar recently in a programme held at the university campus here.
Dr. Hemant Barsagade’s 12 research papers and journals have been published at national and international level. Earlier also he was awarded as Class 1 Outstanding Officer of the University. He served on the Board of Examinations and Evaluation, Finance and Accounting department and has done significant work and currently he is working in the academic departments of university.
He has completed his research on “Study of Social and Economic Status of the Anganwadi workers” and obtained his PhD. Recently. He has also passed MBA in Finance. He has participated in several state and national level conferences.
He has attributed this success to his late father Keshavrao Barsagade, mother and wife.
