Gadchiroli Oct. 10 (District Correspondent) To mark the Service Week and World Pharmacist Day, a Blood Donation Camp was conducted by the Lions club in association with Chemist Family Helping Group District recently at Prime Hospital here the other day. Around 20 youths donated their blood in the camp. Emphasizing the need for blood donation, the speakers said that anyone between the ages of 18 to 65 can donate blood. Youth can donate blood four times a year.

Lions Club Founder Narayan Padmawar, President Manjusha More, Secretary Nitin Chambulwar, Zone Chairperson Deepak More, Cabinet Officer Suresh Ladke, Joint Treasurer Neelima Deshmukh, Bhujang Hire, Sunil Deshmukh, Madat Jeevani, Shalinitai Kumre, Purushottam Vanjari, Mahesh Borewar, Nitin Battuwar, Vivek Bhau Khobragade were prominently present on the occasion.

The camp was organized to spread awareness among the people about blood donation and help those who need blood. Dr. Ashok Tumretti of the civil hospital and his team gave special support for this activity.

Majority of chemists from Gadchiroli cities and representatives of many pharmaceutical companies were also present on the occasion.
