Gadchiroli Oct. 4 (District Correspondent) For the coming State Assembly elections, the All-India Republican Party is in positive discussions with the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the central executive of the party has decided to keep the way open for other options if no honourable solution is reached regarding seat allocation.

This was decided in the meeting of the Central Committee of the Republican Party that was concluded under the chairmanship of Mr. Balasaheb Khobragade, National President of the party at the government Guest house here on Thursday. In this meeting, along with the Vidhan Sabha election, the issues of party organization and public were discussed in detail.

Public enterprises should not be privatized, reservations should be implemented in private industries, education and health services should be nationalized and quality services should be provided to the people, government schools should not be given to private sector, the decision to recruiting retired teachers as contract teachers should be cancelled and unemployed youth should be appointed as teachers demanded the party.

Issues such as stopping of loot of mineral and forest resources in Gadchiroli district, immediate repair of damaged roads in the district, provision of employment and financial assistance to people instead of attracting them for votes through immediate benefit schemes etc. were also discussed in this meeting and it was demanded that the government should immediately resolve these demands.

Republican Party General Secretary Ghanshyam Phuse, Vice Presidents Rohidas Raut, Ashok Nimgade, Treasurer Prateek Dorlikar, Central Member Prof. Suresh Pantawane, A. V. Tembhre, Rajubhau Khobragade, Vishalchandra Alone were present in the meeting.

After this meeting, a dialogue was held with the workers of Gadchiroli district and the party organization was reviewed. On this occasion, District President of Gadchiroli Hansraj Undirwade, Chandrapur District President Premdas Borkar, Surekhatai Barsagade of Women’s Aghadi, State Secretary Prof. Rajan Borkar, Keshavrao Samrutwar, Assembly chief Pradeep Bhaisare, District General Secretary Pralhad Raipure, Office Secretary Ashok Khobragade, Youth President Narendra Raipure, Women General Secretary Jyoti Undirwade, Dadaji Dhakade, Vijay Devtale, Arun Bhaisare, Kalpana Ramteke and other office bearers were present.
