Raheja Hospital holds health camp at Gadchiroli.

Gadchiroli Sept. 12 (District Correspondent) S.L. Raheja Hospital run by Fortis Group’s; Mumbai had organized a two-day free health camp recently at the district government Hospital here. The camp conducted screenings for children with cleft lip palate (cleft lip and palate) and congenital heart defects. As a result of this initiative, 26 children were diagnosed in need of urgent medical treatment.

This camp was organized by S.L. Raheja Hospital in collaboration with Spandan Foundation. As many as 96 children in the age group of 0-18 participated in this camp. Cleft lip palette camp was led by Dr. Taufiq Bohra, while the Department of Paediatric Cardiology was headed by Dr. Raunak Seth and Dr. By Shyamdeep Borgohen, under the guidance of Dr. Snehal Kulkarni.

S.L. Raheja Hospital CEO Dr. Kunal Poonamia said, “This initiative will help us bring about a radical change in the lives of paediatric patients. Our aim is to address the health issues of children in the region by providing quality paediatric services.”

After this camp, S.L. Raheja Hospital will provide cleft lip surgery and heart defect treatment services for children in Gadchiroli.
