Gadchiroli Sept. 3 (District Correspondent) District Collector of Gadchiroli Sanjay Daine has shown a live example of courtesy towards the disabled people which has become a matter of appreciation.
When a disabled youth of the city had gone to meet the District Collector in his office, which is on the first floor, Collector Mr. Daine got up from his chair and went to the youth to accept his memorandum.
Dr. Kirtikumar Uike, an educated youth from GokulNagar area of the city had gone to the collector office on his wheelchair to meet the collector. As soon as the youth entered the chamber of the collector, Mr. Daine got up from his chair and listened to his grievances and satisfied him.
Dr. Uike is Doctorate in Agriculture and has also cleared NET exam. The courtesy shown by the district collector is being appreciated here.
DISABLED’S CELL—Meanwhile, a disabled visitor’s cell has been started at the collectorate here recently. The cell will be operating on the ground floor of the collectorate for the convenience of disabled persons who come to the collector office to submit their complaints or other official works. District Collector Sanjay Daine has ordered to set up the said cell to avoid inconvenience to disabled persons.
At present, the work of lift machine is in progress in the collector office and until its completion, a disabled visitor cell has been set up in the room in front of the chief minister’s secretariat room on the ground floor. Naib Tehsildar Amol Gawhare has been appointed as the Nodal Officer of this cell.
