Gadchiroli Aug. 22 (District Correspondent) The residents of village Gewardha in Kurkheda taluka have demanded early suspension of the Gram Sewak for his alleged irresponsible and arrogant attitude and ignoring the people’s work.

A delegation of the villagers met the CEO of Zilla Parishad Ms. Ayushi Singh and submitted her a memorandum in this regard. Villagers are fed up with the working style of the Gram Sewak. He ignores the public work, remains absent in the office which always affects the official and developmental works, behaves rudely with the people, said the memorandum. The Gram Sewak has been deliberately harassing the villagers who had earlier lodged a complaint against him about his wrong doings. Many of the developmental works in the village have remained incomplete, but the Gram Sewak has grabbed the funds sanctioned for these works, it further added.

The Gram Sewak should be suspended as early as possible, the villagers have demanded. Mr. Shakeel Pathan, Naresh Puram, Girish Dakhne, Siddharth Janbandhu, Vijay dhawle, Shahrukh Sayyad and other villagers have signed the memorandum.
