Gadchiroli July 30 (District Correspondent) Dr. Satish Gogulwar and Dr. Shubhada Deshmukh, who have been working for medical services and public awareness in Gadchiroli district for the past three and a half decades have been selected for the prestigious Someshwar Pusatkar Memorial award.
An award is given every year on behalf of the then Vice President of Agricultural Development Foundation SSomeshwar Pusatkar, who contributed to the cultural and social structure of Amravati city.
This year’s award for social contribution will be given to the Gogulwar couple which carries one lakh rupees cash, shawl, coconut and a badge of honour. The award will be presented by Padmashri Dr. Abhay Bang and presided over by former Supreme Court Justice Vikas Sirpurkar. This program will be held on the Memorial Day of Someshwar Pusatkar on 2nd August at 5 pm at Dhanwate Auditorium, Rashtrabhasha Campus, Shankarnagar Chowk, Nagpur.
