Gadchiroli June 14 (District Correspondent) The villagers of the remote areas of the district, many of whom have not seen the district or taluk level offices till date, talked to the administration in an innovative program called ‘Janasanvadatun Sushasanakade’- (from public dialogue to the good governance).
For the first time, these citizens of remote areas directly interacted with the District Collector, Chief Executive Officer and other district level senior officials through the television system. In this program, the citizens expressed their expectations from the administration, difficulties and problems in development work of their village and tried to get them solved.
With the aim that the citizens of the remote areas should be informed about the government schemes, the benefits of these schemes are actually received by them, increase public participation in the development process and decision making, make it possible to directly communicate with the citizens and solve their problems immediately, the innovative initiative was started by the In-charge Collector Vijay Bhakre. It received a significant response from citizens, especially women.
On this occasion In-charge Collector Vijay Bhakre, CEO of Zilla Parishad Ayushi Singh, Conservator of Forest Dharamveer Salvitthal, Poonam Pate, Project Officer of ITDP Rahul Meena, Resident Deputy Collector Sunil Suryavanshi, District Supply Officer Prakash Patil, Deputy Collector Vivek Salunkhe, Education Officer Vasudev Bhute (Secondary) ), B.S. Pawar (Primary), as well as the concerned Tehsildar, Group Development Officer, Talathi and Taluka level officials were present through televised system.
Construction of mobile network towers in remote areas of the district is in progress. Through this technology communication was made with Regulwahi and Yenkabanda in Aheri taluka, Hindewada (M) and Karampalli in Bhamragad taluka, Kamke (Ghotsur) and Koindul in Etapalli taluka in remote areas.
The Collector talked about collective forest rights claims, forest land, forest conservation and management plan, Aadhaar card, bank account, ration card, gas, job card, registration of pregnant mothers, subsidized employment for pregnant mothers etc. Mr. Bhakere told the villagers that it is necessary to raise their problems with the government for getting them solved.
Mr. Bhakre also directed Talathis, Gram sevaks to prepare a register of the problems in the village and prepare a development plan with the participation of all the villagers. Gain the trust of the public through people-oriented work to reach the government’s schemes at the grassroot level, he instructed.
CEO Ayushi Singh informed about the government schemes after getting information about whether women get the benefit of government schemes, what are the health problems etc.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Bhakre said that it is important to talk to the citizens of remote tribal areas to create trust in the administration, to ensure their active participation in the government schemes, to know their problems and try to solve them. He said this message is being conveyed to the remote areas to inform about the government schemes and to tell the villagers that the development of their village is in their hands.
