Gadchiroli June 9 (District Correspondent) The senior congress leader and leader of opposition Vijay Wadettiwar along with the newly elected Lok Sabha member Dr. Namdeo Kirsan and Gadchiroli district congress committee president Mahendra Bramhanwade met the All-India Congress Party president Mallikarjun Kharge today at his residence in New Delhi.
Mr. Wadettiwar presented a bouquet of flowers to Mr. Kharge and congratulated him on the victory in the Lok Sabha elections. This was the first visit of the leaders after the election results.
Mr. Bramhanwade briefed Mr. Kharge about the organizational work of the congress party in the district during this visit.
On this occasion, the Congress President Kharge appreciated the historic victory of the Congress in the Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha constituency and congratulated the newly elected MP. He also wished good luck to the leaders for the future and advised them to live up to the faith with which the people of the Lok Sabha constituency had voted for the Congress and also gave instructions to prepare for the forthcoming elections.
