Gadchiroli June 6 (District Correspondent) Fed up over ‘style of functioning of the district president’, many of the prominent office bearers of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi have resigned from the party.
Prominent among those who have bid good bye to the party are taluka president, Bashid Sheikh, district president of youth front, Chandu Naitam, city president Dilip Bambode, district social media chief Jawed Sheikh, taluka vice president Manohar Kulmethe, senior workers Mehboob Malik, Govinda Shende, Kartik Kamble, Imran Sheikh, Vilas Bawne, Disha Pohankar, Kavita Ganvir, Rajendrasingh Patwa, Mahi Khobragade and many others.
We are leaving the party because the district president has been working at the whim of his desire without taking the office bearers and workers of the party into confidence, said Mr. Bashid sheikh in a resignation letter sent to the state president Rekha Thakur.
The VBA has received a severe set back in the district due to this mass resignation of the prominent office bearers and workers.
