Gadchiroli Oct. 23 (District Correspondent) A blood donation, blood test and health check-up and treatment camp was organized through the mobile dispensary and cancer detection centre started by former minister Vijay Wadettiwar at Katratwar Complex here the other day with the help of Navkirti Durga Utsav Mandal the other day.
Well known doctors including Dr. Ananta Kumbhare, Director of Dhanwantari Hospital, Dr. Pankaj Sikanlawar, Director, City Pathology, Dr. Kishor Vaidya, Director Sai Sanjivani Homeopathy Hospital, Dr. Chetan Kowe, Director of Multi Dental Clinic, Dr. Nikhil Chavan, Pediatrician, Director of Chavan Hospital, Dr. Rupali Patil, Dr. Minsh Meshram, Heart specialist examined the patients in this camp.
More than 500 patients were examined in the camp and they were given medicines free of cost. 20 persons donated their blood while blood test of 125 patients was conducted during the camp. 3 patients were detected with cancer and they were referred to Nagpur for the further treatment.
Meanwhile former MLA Dr. Namdeo Usendi paid a visit to the camp and extended his best wishes to the organizers for such a useful camp.
For the success of the said health workshop Mr. Rajesh Katratwar, Adv. Rambhau Meshram, Dr. Hemant Appalwar, Deepak Madke, Rakesh Nagre, Sunil Dogra, Krishna Dugakar, Sudhar Rohankar, Parag Poreddiwar and members of Navkirti Durge Mandal took pains.
