Gadchiroli July 27 (District Correspondent) Investiture Ceremony for newly elected school cabinet of the School of Scholars was held in the school auditorium here this morning with a grand zeal and enthusiasm.
Mr. Ashutosh Londhe, Principal of the school presided over the programme while Mr. Rohidas Raut, Dist Correspondent, The Hitavada, Dr. Ganesh Jain, Ms. Rashmi Akhade, social worker were the chief guests of the programme.
The oath of office was given to the members of the student’s council at the hands of Principal Mr. Londhe. The students of std VI to X th had elected their representatives by way of online voting which was held after due democratic election process. The XI and XII std. students chose their leaders unopposed.
The newly elected cabinet consists Head Boy- Soumya Gawhare, Head Girl- Debashri Gayali, CCA Head- Harshal Dumpettiwar, Discipline Head- Atharva Gaikwad, Assembly Head- Aditi Nimbekar, Sports Head- Dhairya Bhaisare along with Senior Secondary Head Boy- Deep Suchak, Head Girl- Palak Bhurse. Deputies and house leaders were also honoured with the badges.
The chief guest Mr. Rohidas Raut informed students with the laws and duties of the school cabinet. He said that ‘students should become leaders in future to make democracy strong and be a good citizen of the country.’
The other guests also spoke on the occasion and guided the students. Prin. Londhe in his presidential guidance called upon the cabinet members to carry on their duties with a sense of responsibility and take the school ahead. Head Girl Debashri Gayali expressed her views on this occasion
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Mr. Amrish Urade and vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Sonali Rajguru. During the programme HOD’s of all subjects and students were prominently present.
The Arts, Music and Sports department, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school took a lot of efforts to make the programme successful.
