Gadchiroli Aug. 24 (District Correspondent) Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi former District General Secretary Keshaorao Samrutwar has joined the All-Indian Republican Party.
Mr. Samrutwar, along with another senior functionary Vinod Ajbale, had recently resigned from VBA protesting against the style of functioning of the party.
Mr. Samrutwar was welcomed in the Republican Party by presenting him a bouquet recently at the hands of Mr. Rohidas Raut, Central Vice President in the party office here.
Prin. Prakash Dudhe, State Vice President, Hansraj Undirwade, District General Secretary, Ashok Khobragade, Office Secretary, Anil Barsagade, City President, Pradeep Bhaisare, Gadchiroli Assembly Chief, Ms. Jyoti Undirwade, General Secretary of Women’s wing, Sainath godbole, Secretary of City unit were prominently present.
Other social workers Atul Bodele, Rahul Khobragade and Ms. Archana Mankar also joined the Republican Party on the occasion. They too were welcomed by presenting bouquets.
Mr. Samrutwar said he was impressed by the leadership of late Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade and the overall programmes of the Republican Party and that is why he joined it. I will work whole heartedly for strengthening the party, he said.
The other workers also expressed their views on the occasion and said the Republican Party has been working for the poor and backward class people and that is why they have joined the party.
