86 persons donate blood in Nirankari Mandal’s camp.

Gadchiroli Aug. 29 (District Correspondent) Sant Nirankari Mandal had organized a blood donation camp at village Malewada in Kurkheda taluka the other day. As many as 86 persons, including 4 women donated their blood voluntarily in this camp. The collected blood is going to be supplied to the blood Bank of the District Hospital shortly.

The camp was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Kishan Nagdewe, Zonal Incharge of Sant Nirankari Mandal. Ms. Geeta Kumre, former ZP councillor, Harish Nirankari, Reginal Director of Sewa Dal, Kanhaiyalal Dengani, PSI More were prominently present.

Sant Nirankari Mandal organizes blood donation camps at various places in the district and collects around 1,000 units of blood which is later on deposited with the District Hospital, informed Mr. Kishan Nagdewe while speaking on the occasion. The other social activities like tree plantation, cleanliness drive, health camps also are organized by the Mandal every year, he added.

Blood donation is a very sacred work and it gives immense joy and satisfaction to the donors and organizers too, Nagdewe said and thanked the donors for their cooperation.

All the donors were felicitated on the occasion by presenting them certificates. A team of Blood Bank of the District Hospital, Mr. Krishna Kinchak, Head of Malewada unit of Nirankari Mandal, Kartik Dhakate of Sewa Dal and others took pains for the success of the camp.
