
Gadchiroli Sept. 3 (District Correspondent) A total of 3750 students from various police stations and sub police stations in the district who were registered under One Village One Library programme, appeared for the practice papers organized by the Gadchiroli Police Force here recently. A total of 27,950 students has given the exam so far through eight test series under this initiative.
Most of the students in the district live in remote areas. They lack proper guidance and opportunities and are lagging behind in competitive exams. In order to create a love of reading and competitive examinations among school students, to move them towards a bright future and to bring them into the mainstream of competitive examinations, Gadchiroli Police Force, in collaboration with Yashorath Competitive Examination Test Series, Mumbai, organized free competitive examination practice paper No. 8 at the Shaheed Pandu Alam Hall at the Police Headquarters through Police Dadalora Khidki’ programme. As many as 71 libraries have been set up at various police stations in the district under One Village One Library.
This practice paper will be used by students for the upcoming Police Constable Recruitment, Forest Guard Recruitment, Talathi Recruitment, Combined Examination and various competitive examinations. A total of 3750 students from Police Headquarters and various levels took the exam for the said competitive exam practice paper.
Students from remote areas like Bhamragad, Aheri, Etapalli, Hedri and Sironcha responded enthusiastically. The 25 students from the newly established Police Help Center, Pengunda area, 10 from Police Station Nelgunda area and 2 from Kawande area also participated in this practice paper. The exams were conducted at many places, public libraries and Gram Panchayat offices. 1750 students participated in the practice paper conducted at the Police Headquarters area. During the practice paper, Superintendent of Police Mr. Nilotpal was present and guided the students and boosted their morale.
For the success of the program, all the sub-divisional police officers, officers-in-charge of the police stations-sub police stations, AOPs as well as the officer-in-charge of the civic action branch, Sub-Inspector Chandrakant Shelke and all the police personnel worked tirelessly under the guidance of SP Nilotpal, Additional SP (Admin) Gokul Raj G.
