249 people donate blood in Sant Nirankari Mandal’s camp.

Gadchiroli April 26 (District Correspondent) A grand blood donation camp was organized by Sant Nirankari Mandal’s Wadsa (Desaiganj) branch on Friday at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhavan, Desaiganj. A total of 249 people, including 213 men and 36 women, donated their blood voluntarily in this camp.

This camp was inaugurated at the hands of former MLA Krishna Gajbe and presided over by Sant Nirankari Mandal Zonal In charge Kishan Nagdeve. Organizer Asaram Nirankari, Seva Dal Regional Director Harish Nirankari, Sadanand Kuthe, Motilal Kukreja, Dr. Sammi Sheikh, Dr. Ravi Motwani, Dr. Sachin Karanjekar were present on this occasion.

Blood donation is a great service, it is a great charity through which the work of saving the lives of others is done, said Mr. Gajbe while speaking on the occasion and expressed the feeling that everyone should contribute to this noble cause.

Sant Nirankari Mandal celebrates ‘Manav Ekta Diwas’ on 24th April to pay tribute to Sadguru Baba Gurbachan Singhji Maharaj and other martyrs. On the same day, blood donation camps are organized in all district centres or other major places and tributes are paid. After that, blood donation camps are organized all over the world as per the requirement and convenience, it was informed.

Mr. Kishan Nagdeve said in his presidential address that as soon as the District Hospital Blood Bank requested the Mandal for a blood donation camp due to blood shortage, the Mandal immediately organized a blood donation camp for human service. This initiative has been going on for the last several years, he said.

Former MLA Dr. Devrao Holi, Police Inspector Ajay Jagtap, Ravindra Ollarwar, Hemant Borkute visited this camp and encouraged the blood donors and appreciated the initiative.

Dr. Pranay Kase, Ganesh Savale, Rahul Sidam, Swati Maraskolhe, Rahul Walke, Swapnil Chaple, Samata Khobragade, Dhiraj Khewle, Pramod Deshmukh, Rajkumar Bhagat, Bandu Kumbhare from the blood bank and Dr. Meera Sonawane, Prashant Badole, Sana Sheikh, Khushal Zade, Raju Nagdeve, Lokesh Gotephode, Sharad Jambhule, Rahul Giri, Shubham Gajbhiye from the blood bank Bhandara worked hard for the blood collection.

Also, the blood test team of the rural hospital, Desaiganj tested all the blood donors. All the male and female members of the Seva Dal worked hard in uniform for the success of the camp.

The program was introduced by Mr. Harish Nirankari, conducted by Nanakram Kukreja and the vote of thanks was given by Purushottam Dengani.
