Gadchiroli Aug. 23 (District Correspondent) The agricultural study tour has was organized for a total of 45 farmers from Gadchiroli district by the police force under its Dadalora Khidki programme in association with and Integrated Tribal Development Project, Bhamragarh.
The farmers of the district will visit the farmers who are doing modern farming and inspect the conditions, modern agriculture and equipment and use that knowledge to change the traditional farming system and will achieve economic progress was the objective of this tour that was organized under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Nilotpal.
A total of 648 women and men farmers from various sub-divisions of remote areas have registered their participation in the previous agricultural sighting trips and study tours. This was the 15 th trip in which 45 farmers from remote areas of Etapalli, Bhamragarh and Hedari sub-division have registered their participation.
During this 10-day trip, participating farmers will visit Agricultural Science Centres at Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Jalgaon, Verul, Rahuri, Baramati, Pune, Parbhani, Yavatmal, Varora and various agricultural fields. They will also visit Citrus Research Centre at Nagpur, Fruit Research Centre at Pune and Sita Fruit Research Centre at Ambejogai. Similarly, they will learn the latest and advanced technology of agriculture. Due to this, they will use the experience of advanced technology in their agricultural business to achieve economic advancement and raise their standard of living and will contribute to the development of the district.
Additional SP(Administration) M Ramesh launched the tour by showing the green flag. All Sub-Divisional Officers, Officer-in-Charge of all Police Stations as well as Officer-in-Charge of Civil Action Branch Dhananjay Patil, PSI Chandrakant Shelke, Sagar Kite and others are also involved for the success of the programme.
